Lauree Feldman

This collection of digitally abstracted images are all presented in a square format. All began as nature photographs. Feldman then imposed her vision on the digital file, coaxing to the fore colors that are present but not seen while eliminating, reducing or enhancing others. The final art is diverse; some works comprise a riot of colors, others are black and white. There is also a subset called  ‘The Jing Series’. These are photos of tai chi master Jing Shuai that have been manipulated and melded with colorful backgrounds derived from nature.
